Store Manager | Del Mar
The store manager is responsible for shaping the customer experience, maintaining high operational standards, and leading the store team at our Del Mar location. Key duties include training staff, overseeing inventory, managing administrative tasks, and collaborating with upper management and owners to drive sales and store performance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer satisfaction and the Pigment brands and possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Inspire and guide the sales team through training and mentorship.
- Foster strong team dynamics and lead efforts to achieve collective workplace objectives.
- Hire, onboard, and manage new staff, ensuring full coverage for all store hours.
- Ensue that weekly inventory counts occur and provide reports to upper management.
- Work with the team to design and set up in-store displays and merchandise.
- Master the store’s POS system (Shopify) and train staff to use it effectively.
- Uphold store policies and procedures to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years working in a retail environment with 1+ years of retail management experience
- In depth knowledge and experience of basic business management, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Shopify POS experience a plus
